A 3 way electric pallet stacker stores and retrieves pallets in aisles far narrower than a reach truck can enter, and lifts them to racking heights a standard stacker cannot reach. On the CDME16, three stage full free masts run from 4500 mm to 12000 mm.
Aisle width and lift height together decide how much of a building you can turn into storage. This guide covers how three way stacking works, the numbers that matter, and the CDME16 60S specifications.
What a 3 Way Stacker Does
The fork carriage rotates and moves sideways as well as lifting, so the truck never turns inside the aisle. Three movements do the work: fork lift to the beam level, fork rotation to face either side of the racking, and lateral shift to reach two pallet positions at the same level from one stop.
Aisle Width and Lift Height: Two Numbers That Decide Your Storage
On a 1200 by 1200 pallet the CDME16 works in a stacking channel of 1600 mm, with a main aisle of 3660 mm to 4000 mm and a minimum turning radius of 2075 mm. Narrowing the aisle is often the difference between adding a row of racking and building an extension.
Lift height sets how high you can stack. Capacity holds at the full 1600 kg up to 6500 mm, then steps down:
4500 mm to 6500 mm: 1600 kg. 7000 mm: 1450 kg. 8000 mm: 1200 kg. 9000 mm: 1000 kg. 10000 mm: 800 kg. 12000 mm: 500 kg.

Why Operators Choose It
Mast built from imported H section steel for stability at full lift. HD camera on the carriage streams the fork position to the cabin screen. Electro hydraulic proportional lifting for precise placement at height. Full AC system with no carbon brushes to replace. Fully electric attachment with no hydraulic leakage risk in food, pharmaceutical and cold chain warehouses.
3 Way Stacker or Reach Truck
Choose the 3 way stacker where aisle width is the constraint and storage density is the priority. Choose a standard reach truck where aisles are generous, travel distances are long, and the simpler attachment and lower purchase price matter more.
FAQ
How narrow can the aisle be for a 3 way electric pallet stacker?
With a 1200 by 1200 pallet, the stacking channel is 1600 mm. Confirm your own pallet footprint and racking design before ordering.
How high can a 3 way electric pallet stacker lift?
The three stage full free mast runs from 4500 mm to 12000 mm. Capacity at 12000 mm is 500 kg, so check the rating at your working height.
Can a 3 way stacker replace a reach truck?
Where aisle width is the constraint, yes. In wide aisles with long travel distances, a standard reach truck can still be more economical.
Next Step
Send us your pallet size, racking layout and required lift height. We will come back with the aisle width you can work with, the capacity at your working height, and a quotation for the configuration that fits.
Mast closed height matters as much as lift height. At 12000 mm lift the mast is 5290 mm closed, which sets the door height and the clearance needed when travelling between buildings.
